The feeder compensation amplifier is mainly used to compensate for the loss of signals during transmission, thereby improving the transmission quality of the signals and the signal strength at the receiving end. This type of amplifier is usually located between the antenna and the receiving equipment, and is used to enhance the signal attenuation problems caused by long transmission distances or high transmission losses.

Due to the significant losses encountered by the signal during transmission, including losses in coaxial cables and atmospheric attenuation, the signal strength at the receiving end is insufficient. The feeder compensation amplifier can enhance the antenna signal and compensate for the feeder losses from the antenna to the receiver, ensuring signal quality. Since the coaxial cable itself has certain losses, especially in the high-frequency range, the feeder compensation amplifier can be placed at key positions to compensate for the losses of the signal during transmission, thus guaranteeing signal quality.
