During the exchange, ADI engineers and AMSaudio’s senior engineer Luo Wensheng held in-depth discussions covering key technical areas including chip architecture, software design, and logic control. Both sides examined issues in the core development boards, and ADI’s team provided targeted technical solutions to help AMSaudio address R&D challenges. For example, in RF direct AD sampling, ADI proposed a new sampling algorithm that effectively reduces signal processing latency, improving real-time wireless audio transmission. This enables users to enjoy smoother audio experiences in different scenarios. In audio compression, both parties discussed leveraging ADI’s DSP chips for more efficient encoding and decoding, improving transmission efficiency while maintaining sound quality and reducing bandwidth consumption.

Luo Wensheng proposed that a 10 GHz AD high-speed sampling rate could enable the D Series microphones to operate across global frequency ranges. This would significantly simplify analog circuitry by directly connecting ADC/DAC components to RF signals, with most correction, frequency conversion, and filtering tasks handled by digital circuits. FPGA technology specializes in digital processing, making this approach highly suitable. The RFAD2X series integrates RF ADC/DAC within FPGA, forming a streamlined architecture. ADC/DAC interfaces connect directly to external RF signals, while DDC/DUC (digital down conversion/up conversion, including digital filtering) are FPGA strengths. A single FPGA can integrate up to 16 transmit and 16 receive RF channels.
