After five years in the live event industry, from small conferences with a few hundred attendees to brand galas with thousands of guests, I have used more than a dozen wireless microphone systems — from well-known international brands to niche products. I’ve encountered my fair share of problems and gained plenty of experience. What gives me the biggest headache as someone working in Northeast China is winter outdoor performances — the cold is truly brutal.
Recently, I handled a commercial performance at an ice and snow theme park, where the temperature dropped to –25°C. Even performers wearing down jackets were shivering. Our imported system’s main unit completely failed in the cold, leaving us with no options, so we urgently rented four sets of AMSaudio E300 units as backup. And guess what? These microphones performed flawlessly in the freezing environment — incredibly stable. Even when hosts spoke in low temperatures, visible breath vapor did not affect the microphone pickup, and the sound remained clear and bright. During energetic singing and dancing performances, the signal stayed rock-solid with no dropouts or noise. What surprised me most was the battery life — it lasted a full six hours without issue, which is rare in Northeast China’s winter. Of course, it’s not perfect. We initially wanted to add two more microphones, only to find that this model supports a maximum of 12 channels. For large-scale events requiring dozens of channels, another model might be necessary. But for the weddings and corporate events we usually handle, 12 channels are more than sufficient.
Now, the E300 has become our company’s “official winter equipment.” While other gear struggles in the cold, it remains steady and reliable — truly proving the strength of domestic products. If it could support more channels in the future, it would be perfect. But at its current price and performance level, why even consider imported wireless microphones?
As our business expanded, we organized a celebrity fan meeting with an audience of around a thousand people, which demanded extremely high equipment stability. We initially considered renting high-end Sennheiser models, but due to budget limitations, we decided to try AMSaudio’s GT6000. Honestly, I was quite nervous at first — any audio accident in a large event would be disastrous. However, the actual performance completely eased my concerns. The stage was surrounded by lighting rigs and LED screens, creating strong electromagnetic interference, an environment prone to noise. Yet the GT6000 remained exceptionally stable throughout, without even the slightest electrical noise. What impressed me further was its multi-channel capability. In the past, setting frequencies for this many microphones would take half a day. This time, with 38 microphones, pairing was seamless. A single scan automatically avoided all conflicting frequencies, saving us at least an hour of setup time.

After this real-world test, I feel much more confident taking on large-scale events. We no longer worry about expensive rental costs while still achieving professional-level performance. Domestic equipment like this truly deserves strong support from frontline professionals.
Beyond performance, AMSaudio’s after-sales service also left a strong impression on me. During one outdoor event,
a malfunction occurred due to operator error, with only two hours left before the event began. In a panic, I contacted
AMSaudio’s support team. To my surprise, they responded within half an hour and quickly arranged for a nearby
technician to provide on-site repair. The issue was resolved before the event started, with no impact on the show.
I later learned they provide 24-hour online support, with prompt responses for both technical consultation and maintenance.
In the time-critical live event industry, such efficient support is a great reassurance for execution teams.
I have been using AMSaudio for nearly a year, from intimate gatherings of a few hundred people to large events with thousands of attendees, and its performance has consistently been stable and impressive. As someone who works closely with equipment, I’ve realized that choosing wireless microphones doesn’t necessarily mean sticking to international brands. Domestic brands like AMSaudio can match high-end products in sound quality and stability, while offering more affordable pricing and more attentive after-sales service. We don’t have to pay for brand premiums, yet we gain professional performance beyond expectations.
If you also face budget constraints but refuse to compromise on sound quality and stability, whether for weddings, conferences, or medium to large-scale events, AMSaudio is worth trying. As the saying goes, “practice reveals truth” — good equipment speaks for itself. It might just become the quiet yet reliable “behind-the-scenes hero” in your workflow.
